Sayo's Poem is a Tanka poem made by Sayo Aisaka as part of a class activity in 1940.
Appearing only in the anime series, the poem is about Sayo's little sister planting silver-leaf flowers in the hope that, in doing so, their deceased mother would return to them.
The poem was kept and stored amongst other chronicles in Library Island, later found by Kazumi Asakura sixty years later when she decided to investigate into Sayo's past.
Her tiny hands are,
planting silver-leaf so tender.
Patiently waiting for the bloom next November.
