The Megalomesembria Gateport is a magic gate port located in the capital city of Megalomesembria. One of eleven such locations in the Magic World available to the public, the gateport, built out in the city's bay, serves as a direct connection between the Magic World and the Old World (Earth).
As part of Fate Averruncus's plan to send the demi-human population of the Magic World into the Cosmo Entelecheia, he destroyed the portal's connection with the Old World. The damaged rendered the portal unable to operate, with repairs estimated to take 2 - 3 years to complete.
At the pinnacle of Fate's plan, where the Magic World was on the verge of annihilation, the gateport was consumed and destroyed by a storm that was approaching the city.
