Craig Caldwell is a human swordsman and member of a group of treasure hunters who discovered Nodoka Miyazaki in a ruin and inducted her into the group. At first protective of her because she reminded him of a childhood friend, he soon learned to appreciate her trap-finding skills like the rest of the team. He and Aisha were erased in chapter 277 by Dynamis while protecting Nodoka but were revived back by Asuna in chapter 355

Craig and the rest of the treasure hunters that Nodoka befreinds are named after characters from the book Inherit the Stars by James P. Hogan.
